In February, rather than our usual Kite String Cantina meetup, we’ll meet on Sunday, February 2 at Bryan’s house (6917 W. Shakespeare Ave, Chicago) for our Annual General Meeting.
We’ll have chili (meaty and vegan versions), and club mixologist Patti will create a cocktail for a toast to celebrate our sixth anniversary.

We’ll have dinner first as we settle into our Annual General Meeting, where we’ll discuss our finances, goals, and plans for 2025.
After the meeting, we’ll watch the 2011 film “Larry Crowne,” featuring Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Brian Cranston, Cedric the Entertainer, Fez from “That 70s Show,” Rob Riggle, Pam Grier, George Takei… It was a huge failure at the box office, and rightfully so, but it does have a delightful subplot about a community college scooter club. We’ll provide live commentary. You’ll love it!
